Is mobile 1 fully synthetic?

Is mobile 1 fully synthetic?

Yes, but make sure you get the proper 'MOTORSPORT' version which IIRC is 15W-50, not the pissy 0W-40 stuff :)

Don't know if the offers still on but I bought a 4 litre can of the Mobil 1 15W-50 fully synthetic oil for about £18.00 from Asda a couple of weeks ago. It was on a half price offer at the store in Queensferry near Chester.

I didn't even know Asda sold that kind of stuff! (it is one of those hypermarket places though...)

That's good news they now do a 5w. 15w is way too thick from cold IMO and I always found their 0w40 as thin as water for some reason

I may go back to using Mobil-1 now ;)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Mobil also do Synt S, which is a cheaper (still fully synthetic) 5W40 oil. which is what i use :)
