Surely a load of *****cks, my guess - forced Air/supercharger thingy

looks potoshopped to me. But that is one big ol' Tubby!.

and its not a Z32 either

And what is going on with that bumper?.

and look at the wipers - they are the wrong way round (at least for a J spec car) and the Z bonnet badge is the right way round. Did they reverse the wipers for LHD?

think it's a modified Dyson in there !

It's a big ol' Yank V8 innit?

After some url tweaking with the given one from the first post, i found this picture.

album_pic.php?pic_id=81

Which lead me to http://www.zparts.com where i found this interesting VH45-TT swap.

hmm i cant seem to edit my own posts.

The first picture will be an USA (rhd) model Z32 with a American V8 with some light mods ;) (see edelbrock on headcovers)

i think it's a single turbo short block chevy v8 engine. but i might be wrong.

I didn't think it was photoshopped, it's a beast whatever it is, bet it sounds nice...

Its a small block Ford 5.5 ltr V8 with a supercharger and no it is not photo shopped. Just the angle of the photo. Its a comon Convertion in the States as the small block Ford and Chevy lumps are abundant, smaller and lighter than the Original Nissan lump + it gives very relyable 650bhp and no lag.

I worked out after spending a fortune on bigger tubs injectors pistons engine rebuild etc. It would have been cheeper to go this root. So when mine blows up next time this is what I intend to do.

Sorry just looked again it is a turbo which again is a standard kit for the above mentioned Small block V8's though I'd go for the supercharger.

Teh i saw one if these small block Chevy V8s in a mk 1 escort when i was in south africa,I couldent belive the amount of room there was in there.

He was drag racing in it and it was a Auto.

The only way to drag race, far better than a manual :)

The right kind I would say!-yank v8-Nice.............

Where's the skill in dragging in an Auto though?

More like who's got the most money put into the car! ;)

Prefer Nissan V8's in a Zed myself but then I'm biased. ;)

Very true.......................you are! ;)

Nothing to do with skill LOL,Its to do with times an autobox can change through the gears far faster than and human pushing a stick and using a clutch.

All top drag cars are auto!

LOL how can you say that at this early stage? It could be the worst thing you have done to the car  ;)

Ok technically Auto's are faster, because they take away all human input and does it itslef we all know that, but I will NEVER buy a sports auto, it defeats the object for me, it was so much fun dragging (slowly compared to a Zed lol) other cars in an Astra GTE, pissing over far faster cars on paper, because the dumbasses couldn't figure out how to drive the bloody things right. Made me laugh every time... and is a great feeling when you get it right, knowing you've had something to do with the process other than mashing the right foot! But each to their own eh? :) Manuals are for real men :x:

;)
