How long has it been with Slick50 in,of course your problem may not be down to Slick50,but better safe than sorry with this stuff i think, you have nothing to loose by dropping the oil,but i would suggest doing a couple of oil changes within close intervals to make sure you get it all flushed out,may help, hope so.

Only been in about a month and a half and been smoking for a month.

Better put that on my list of attempted jobs the weekend

Oops, had Slick50 in for months, and been getting smoke from the drivers side pipe for a while too - looks like I'm gettin' oily on Saturday then :(

i think its been well discussed on here, and slick 50 deffo aint recommended

as above dropping the oil isnt enough, it needs flushing PROPERLY, as thats what its for to stick everywhere:(

Would agree on flushing it but using a flushing agent in some peoples eyes is all so risky, personaly i would not use it,my old 24V Cosworth lump did not sound to healthy after i had used some once, doing a couple of oil changes, after off course getting it well hot may be a better idea, just dont want to recomend that any one should use it in case of problems.

ive always thought that getting rid of protection that has built up over

a few years ain't healthy, i always remember a guy i know who used to put the old diesel oil in his car, which contained a flushing agent, very proud he was that he got his oil for nothing, his engine sounded a bit like kelly holmes jogging with a tool box on her back

I swear Slick 50 finished my last engine and tubs off!! worse thing is my boss was on a plane last year, he says to this guy "I wouldn't put it in my car" and the guy replies "no nor would I"" te he --- shit I'd only had it in mine for six fooking months and the engine was knocking and tubs were whislting just before they seized.
