Occasional smoke anyone

Recon engine, recon turbos, yet if I floor it after driving normally for a while I get smoke at about 6000rpm, its a cloud of grey smoke, it thins out quickly and gets less each time I floor it, until the next time?

As I am shit at explaining smoke colours, its like smoke that comes out of a smokers gob (a sort of greyish shade).

I am told turbos smoke when they haven't been floored for a while, but I cant see this being right on a recent re-con.

Any help guys ?

Could well be unfortunately  , as for the stink, no idea I'm driving the car, I,d better ask the next scooby driver I come across  ;) :D

Is the smoke when you nail it or as you lft off?

Who Reconed your Tubs?

Was it a complete exchange service, ie you old tubs replace with 2 comletely reconed units or did you send yours away to be repaired.

Good question, its while the foot is down and only during high revs, the turbos were reconditioned by Turbo Technics, new seals, bearings and balanced. Cheers
