:nana2::nana2: i knew someone would say why...... and must say good work smithy..

Just need those Covers now bud..:D:D PM me when they ready mate and i'll send you the ready's :D

I have put this in the Tunning & Mods Forum

:D Right for all the people asking this is where i got all the stuff from to do this job :D

Smithy

Supplied the Metal work and the Silicone hoses and jubilee clips

Danny at DTA

Supplied the 2 x Apexi filters and gaskets

The job took about an hour to do from start to finish.

1. Take off slam panal (if you got 1)

2. Remove the centre light panal.

3. Disconnect the air filter from the Maf (which ever one you have)

4. Disconnect the wiring loom from the Maf.

5. Disconnect the Maf from its housing and put with the rest of the kit waiting to go on.

6. Connect all the Metal Pipework together with the hoses and clips provided, then connect the Maf on to them aswell (see pic)

7. Place the complete system in the space that is left and re-connect the Maf to the air intake housing. Making sure that the original inlet tubes dont get in the way. I had to cut my drivers side one to get it to fit.

8. Re-connect the Maf loom to the Maf.

9. Replace the Centre light panal and any slam panal you may have.

10. I then disconeected the battery for 30 mins, reconnected it then took the car for a longish drive to help reset the ECU, cant say if this does or will work but mine seems fine.

Job done :D

Hope this helps those who have asked.

Matt

I can see I'll have to change mine to something different now every tw@t has them :D

What's the wiring implications for doing the dual MAF Chris. Toying with going this way myself.

Looking very nice sgt. Did your missus by you that little lot? Only thing my missus would buy for mine would be a can of petrol, firelighters and a box of matches. Man she hate my car.

Lovely bit of kit Sgt C. Looks like you keep your motor looking as good on the inside as you do on the outside.Whats the damage on one of them kits £?

Hi mate, don't worry yours is okay, the 2 maf plates you have in the pic with no filter on, swap them round, reason being is you already had a Z apexi which you've fitted correctly, now the plate on the left of pic is the same and goes to your MAF, When your other Apexi arrives it fits the remaining plate, yours appears different because you already had an apexi and Matt didn't and i do the plates to suit the apexis you have or are getting, they have different bases see and i just have all the templates for them all

cheers

smithy
