Cheap insurers?

My dad wants to insure the zed again soon so wants to find a good deal.

 

Car is an import, only mods being K&N filters (is that even classed as a mod?), jasma exhaust and clear side repeaters.

He is 54, NCB being used on his daily drive so none.

 

So who does the best limited mileage/classic deals these days?

    How old is the Zed, he might be able to insure it as a classic with Houghtons? if he also limits the miles to 6000, he wont need to use any of his NCB from his other cars and the insurance should be about £300.00. Thats what i have done ?
