We've had a good response to the Lakeside meet this Sunday. Just wondered who is definitely going to be there so we have an idea of numbers?

 

Meeting will be at the Chafford Hundred Pub at midday on Sunday 13th Feb. Map to the pub is here Good food for Sunday lunch and a nice big car park! Other halves, kids and 350Zs welcome as always.

not more than 5 miles into the journey to the meet, a pigeon the size of a cat decided to fly into my car, hitting the top of the windscreen and ripping the plastic sorround off. Not being satisifed with that, it rolled over the roof and smashed into the middle of my spoiler, splitting it in two.

 

I pulled up in the next garage and got some Duck tape.. persuaded the guy behind the counter to let his broom become lost for a few quid, and stuck the spoiler together enough so the car was drivable.

I know what you mean mate, next thing on my list is some 99 rears, but seeing so many today (22 at one point) gave me lots of ideas of what to do...

 

Some really nice cars there, took a fair bit of video, no idea where to host it though...

 

I loved the colour of the blue one, really stood out, and the SWB was awesome...

 

Who the hell owned the Zed that made my fillings rattle with the exhaust when it went past? ;)

 

Just sorry I couldn't stay longer to meet you all properly, but my wife's car got hit while parked up at home, so had to go and do some DIY panel beating... :rolleyes:

:headvswal sorry i left a bit early,, guys,, me kids were freezing and i was bit upset as me car decided to self destruct today,, radio stopped working, found out rear turbo seal gone, all a bit too much for one days meet, but on the bright side,, i can get new radio and uprated turbos when i get them changed,,sssshhhhhhhhhhhh dont tell the misses,, , was good meet today,, ps sorry i thought ryan was jock!!!! :bow: as im new i got to put names to faces ,,nice to meet you all today good turn out,, :duffer: :duffer: :D
