Put the Zed in for it's Mot Friday, collected today, all fine,

All that needed doing was the headlights needed adjusting after I fitted the HID's and he didnt even charge for that!!

Cool, now all I gotta do is sell it!! - Going on Autotrader when I get a mo....

Unless anyone on here wants it, though to be honest, great as this place is, it doesnt seem the best place to sell a Zed, as many paople already have one.

If you're interested, cos... :ttiwwop: you can see a few here... on my webpage and click on the SALE link

cheers

Why are you selling? :(

Hello mate,

I just dont want it any more, cant explain really.

It's a nice car and all that, but just doesnt really do anything for me I'm afraid!

Maybe I'm just not used to a rear wheel drive anymore, but hanging the back out doesnt impress me anymore.

In fact I just think how much will it cost me if I get it wrong in a corner, and I cant afford for anything to go wrong on it.

Shame, cos you know what it's like, you see a car and think, "one day I'll have one of those" well I got one, and it didnt live up to my expectations...

You wanna buy it?? you can have 2! :)

Steve

Funnily enough, I was thinking about a 535 beemer... but one newer than yours.... :(

I'm having trouble thinking of what to go for next. budget is limited to possibly around £5000, I want something reasonably new, not a 1993 like my Z. something with a bit of refinement and luxury, but thats a bit quick too!!

Jag XJ6, or 5 Series. I like the IS200 lexus, but they are a bit out of my price range

Maybe a Mondeo ST200. (Cos cant afford a 220) the thing I dont like about the mondeo is, it looks almost exactly like my wifes Mondeo 1.8 Zetec!! MUNDANE!

or possibly a Volvo 850 T5 estate

I think I'm going to need a few test drives this time, and not buy the 2nd car I saw again!!!!!!

What would you get for £5000?

What would you get for £5000?

I'd get a 200SX S14A.

But you sound like you want something bigger / more refined.

How about an Alpha 166 3.0 V6? You'd get a 2000 W-reg easy for that money and they're not slow, fun to drive and not as Mickey mouse as old Alphas.

You could get a E320 Merc but it'd be 1995.

Or how about a Honda Legend or an import Legacy?

I'd get a 200SX S14A.

Hmm, an Alfa, not too bad, worth a look

Dont think I want another Honda at the mo (I used to have a CRX VTEC) and definately dont want anything thats an import. Cant be bothered with the insurance people saying... "Whats that then, I dont have that on the system!" then adding 50% on the premium just for the fun of it

and an E320, I'll look to see what that looks like, not too sure about Mercs, but I'll take a look, cheers for the ideas

Big engine, high spec Scorpios and Omegas could be worth a thought too.

Hmm, whats the reliability etc though, still probably no worse than a ford Mundane ST200!

And are they both UGLY enough too!!

Jeez you wouldn't think it this hard to buy a nice car would you!

Hav u had th turbos reconditioned @ all?

No, sorry

Stevepud

That feeling of you worrying about the damage that will happen if you do 'boot it' in a corner, happened to me about 5 years ago. It NEVER goes away. Prepare yourself for a lifetime of GETTING OLD.

A Mondeo awaits

AAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!

Point taken Kay, ;)

I know what'll happen,

I'll sell the Z, and buy an old £200 clunker to get me to the station every day, and stick with that!! (Thats all I use the Z for now anyway!!!! :headvswal )
