Nice.

I think there's still the mark on the tree near where I live where that rich computer git crashed his on the A120. Hit it at well over 100, all three people killed, don't think they ever found all the bits of the car.

Tree has a scratch on the bark and lost a few leaves (well Autumn was coming up)

Fookin' hell!!!

Life wouldn't be boring with that line-up would it?

Can someone tell me something? You telling me that Mac couldn't find anything else to line the engine bay hatch with apart from gold leaf?

They don't even use that stuff on satellite reflectors FFS!

Waaaayyyyy over the top if you ask me!

Just jealous! wink.gif

Rob, what are you on today? WTF does that mean? biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Me

I went to University with the South African guy who wrote the original HotMail software (when I lived in the USA). Microsoft bought it for roughly $400million (or so he says) and he went out the next day and bought an F1. Three weeks after delivery he bent it around a lamp post in a shopping centre car park, wrote it off and bought another one (silver) shortly there after (I think he got it off Yves SaintLaurent who had two ... lucky git).

Don't know what happened to him or his car ... but a mutual acquaintance once mentioned that he's been spotted in a Bugatti EB110 or something ...

Wasn't "name dropping" Glenn - I took two Management Information Systems courses with him at the University of Southern California at Berkley back in the early 90's.

Cheers!

sounds like an old wifes tale that one.

Na.....don't like it.....not really my colour biggrin.gif. I'll have the house though, LOL.

Well ... you can believe me or not ... I'm not really bothered either way. I'm not in the habit of fabricating stories for no apparent reason other than filling space and sounding like a pretentious git - those of you who know me will know that. By the way, just remembered the guy's name: Jack Smith. He developed it together with an Indian guy.

And on that note, I will leave this thread for what it is. My apologies to 300Z (that's Warren, right?) for turning this initially impressive thread (nice pics) into this - wasn't my intention, just wanted to share something of my past with the rest of you.

Over and out ......
