Okeedokey- looks like I've sprung a coolant leak somewhere around the driver's side part of the plenum. :(

Are the throttle warming sections of the coolant loop interconnected or seperate? I might not have a huge amount of time at the weekend, so I might only be able to do the side with the leak, unless of course you've got to do them both at the same time...

Cheers,

Mark

Check its not the pipes thet go into the bulkhead for the heater matrix, these are dead qick to fit about half an hour and are available from mjp for about £35.

If its one of them crappy little plenum hoses i'd just do the complete bypass cos the moment you replace one another will go.

I'll try! The problem is that I've not seen water coming out from anywhere- I'm not losing a huge amount, so I presume it's only happening under load. So apart from flooring it with the bonnet up and leaning out the window, I'm not sure how to find it!! :slap:

But there does seem to be water collecting on the upper join of the down-pipe, which is right under the inlet pipe to the throttle body feed, if I've got my engine geography right.

The matrix pipes are right at the back aren't they? TBH I don't think it's them, but I'll check. Cheers! :)
