Sounds like Sunday was great.

I'm gutted I had to go on the Saturday and missed most of the Zs.

 

I'm well up for going again - maybe take the Z as well although I'm keen to do the bike again too (maybe it's time for that trailer and towbar!)

 

And if you thought it was cold, it was far worse riding there on a motorbike and standing round in 'streamlined' leathers all day, then riding home! My fingers still hurt - bbrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

I would be the first to agree that the £10 entry at the gate on a rwyb day is not good value for money especially in Feb.

Its not my fault really but Ill apologise anyway as I was one of the originators of this idea.

However on the positive side it did get you to come and have a look at something new (to you) and others also came for the first time.

Now you cant please all the people all the time so It may be that some (like yourself) have decided that its not for them . Thats a fair comment. There are also some who came for the first time and are deffo up for a return visit.

The Dark Warrior is now Mids organizer and will no doubt have some new ideas for us.

People like Chunk , TonyC and Me who are joint members of 300Zx co uk and The Z Club are looking to visit Santa Pod regularly to take part in Mike Fs Drag challenge series, but I guess these visits will be in addition to Midlands meets and not a replacement for them.

Sorry I didn't have time to stop and say hello to some of you right at the end of the Saturday Session. You were all hanging around the silver Z with the dents and scratches, and I papped at you all. (I was in the Pearl White J-spec with Bomex front Bumper.

 

Not sure who the Scottish guy was asking for Chunk either, seemed like a nice guy though.

 

I was a bit dissappointed with my 14.7 @ 97mph, the start line was real slippy though and the car was getting bogged down in 1st.

 

It really annoys me @ Pod when they are running the Jet cars on a busy day. £25 for 3 runs isn't my idea of value for money either..

 

Oh well. Hope you all had a good time!!
