Just got back from the Pod

Weather was clear but fffffreezing!

I only did three runs and best time was 11.8 (I blame the 0.5 sec reaction on cold fingers).

It was great but didn't see many 300s - maybe everyone's going tomorrow?

Thats a great time 11.8sec  what spec have you, were you on slick type tyres,Tony :)

Great time, but I though you had an NA?

I do believe Mr Craig David was there on a bike ;), hence the comments about cold fingers.

Sorry for spoiling it Tim, :slap:!!!

Yes, I was on a bike (FZS1000). The bike was only just run in so it was the first time I'd taken it over half revs. But I don't think my NA would manage that sort of time. I want to go back on the bike and I'd love to try and get that down to low 11s (I take it the reaction time is included in your overall time?).

I got there and saw some bloke on a ZX-12R (another bike) with some serious mods do a 6.2 (I think)

A bit gutted I went on the wrong day and missed everyone but it's snowing here now so maybe not a bad thing!

Any idea what a standard NA would do?

reaction time doesn't affect the overall time.

I think n/a's are in the 15s for the quarter

Yep , but only just!!

i ran a 15.94 this morning, but couldnt repeat it.

SteveJ ran a 16.0, but coulnt get into 15sc later. He lent the car to Chunk for a couple of passes, best was a 15.90.

weather was bitter cold buy dry and bright. We had a rough car count around 2.00pm with an approx total of 15 (ish) of us there. Pretty good for mid winter.

And thank you Chunk for taking this signature photo today and sticking it up here in cyberspace for me.

im soooo glad its a little dark, cos then you cant see the three different shades of red! :(

And lastly before anyone asks who the old geezer in the car is, ITS ME!!

Just thawed out from the pod, had a great day despite the temperature. Only had 2 runs but managed a best of 15.3. Got the tuning bug again now !!

any decent times from todays runs? we didnt bother in the end. stuarts clutch is slipping and Adams had a hairdryer control malfuction, something to do with his AFM apparently (anti-frizz machine maybe, i dunno!!) Typical toymota owner letting the side down. ;)

Hey guys,

Top 24hrs for me, even though i did have to thaw myself out by drinking endless coffee.

A big well done to all that showed up, and there was some decent runs.

Nice one to Ivan (the dark warrior) for getting a PB 14.25 :D

A huge thanks to Steve J, not only did he give me a lift home but let me run his Z twice down the strip as i was getting withdrawral symptons.

Another big thanks to Chris@GetGReddy for picking me up yesterday (still cant believe how much that B&B stunk in the mornin :o )

Decent runs by Pod virgin Barks @ 14.7, Slick Pete @ 15.94 and Steve J @ 16.0.

Well done also to TonyC and John Dixon, your Z's were a bit too powerful for the track today :D
