My Dad had one of those when I was a kid. I can vividly remember sitting in it, but not being able to see out of the windows and thinking the engine sounded like thunder!

 

I can also remember the jealous looks on the other kids' faces when he dropped me off at Primary school in it :D

The 1969 Trans-Am....the largest engine for that year was 400 ci. engine.

 

It wasn't untill 1971 did Pontiac come out with the 455 ci. engine.

 

454 ci. was a chevy engine.
