Ok guyz.... Im just about to buy a mates car..... Hes settled on 7.5k.. Its a 1992 SWB TT T-Bar... Ive seen a lot of cars on here for around that price, so im not worried about the price to be honest... Im just keen on what you would pay for a car of the above spec, with the following mods...

Steel braided brake hoses

Apexi brake discs

Sports Pads

Racing Suspension

Apexi ECU moniter

Apexi racing timer

Apexi Radiator

18" racing wheels

High level spoiler

F40 Bodykit

60bhp Nos Kit

Blitz Induction kit

jap racing exhaust

Racing Clutch (only 200miles on it!)

Blitz DumpValves

HKS metal head gasket

Forged pistons

Roll Cage

Under Lit Neons

In Car neons

Electro Luminescent Pedals

Interior sprayed silver

Recent Paint job

Also, what bhp am i looking at from the above mods?

Im just checking every angle before spending out all the cash on a 1992 car, thats all....

Thanx in advance,

Paul

was 4k of ebay tax and moted

and its only done 52k

Id wait mate till the right one comes up....

:duffer:

To be truthful, im happy with the spoiler and wheels.... Its just something ill change in the near future.. Id not buy a car and leave it how i bought it, because then, ive not made it my own..... It works out well, with it being 20 seconds away etc etc, im happy paying the money if its worth it, and if its mechanically sound....

WTF IS THAT ON THE BOOT?

Get rid of that you don't want to look a :xxx:

Its called a spoiler....

It may not appeal to many on here, but to be honest.. i dont dislike it... Ill be replacing it with a carbon fibre one, something similar to the one on the Dec issue Of Max, sported on the yellow S2000.... But at the end of the day, if i did what everyone told me to do on here, the world wud be a very boring place i guess.... I was just asking for a general overall response, no silly replies like the one above...

If you like it, that's all that matters. Taste is different things to different people, that's what makes life interesting ;)

I don't like that spoiler personally, too Max Power........ I'd remove it but the rest of the kit is fine, it looks a nice car although maybe a bit pricey in the current market. I think the ZX is a clean, unique looking car as it is. Subtle mods like a new front end are all that's needed IMO.

I'd be wary of the engine mods though. On a ZX you need to know who did the work, how good they are and whether they know their stuff. Too many cases of tuners not familiar with the ZX who uprate the performance only for the car to go bang a couple of months later.

You did mention the insurance issue, those mods listed are certainly going to add a few £££s to the premium :nono:

Good luck with what ever you decide

Richard

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

A lot of the memebrs cars on here are really smooth, its the look i went for on my last car, albeit it, i went a bit mad on the wheels size, and lowering..... Im a big fan of big rear wings/street racing/drifting kinda look, so thias'll differ from the look of many of yours if i get it lol.....
