well if its any good the plan is to get 2, then combine the colonies after a few weeks and see if they fight :D

 

you have to send off for 20 ants for $3, and apparently they survive for about 6 months, the gel was devised by nasa, and contains all the nutrients and water they need :).

well 1) i'm pretty useless and these ants look after themselves, i've actually found out how to make the gel now, so if i don't get bored of these guys then I will get a fish tank and make some gel.

 

does anyone (russ) know if you can get queen ants in the UK. i'd like to have a bit more of a colony going if i do that lol.
