spoke to kindertons accident management as advised by mike and leigh, and though they were helpful they decided they will not be taking on my case.

the other driver has a 'witness' who claims he saw me run a red and so it comes down to my winesses' word against his. looks like the outcome will most likely be settled as a 50-50 with me having to pay for my repairs being covered tpft

i dont think there is anything i can do.

Very sorry to hear that Yas, but as I said before my front bumper is still available (just requires that split repairing on the bottom) you can have it for free anyway.

I've got a front fog light you can have mate. cant remember if its drivers or passenger?

thanks nick, if its not out of a set and its the drivers side il take it, at least then i can recoup some money by selling the fogs off my old zed.

oh and i havnt forgotten about your fan shroud bud, still trying to get a decent shaped box to send it out in :)

Bad luck, Yas mate

Always a bummer when some fekking scrote gets a mate to pretend he's a "witness" :headvswal

This happened to one of our engineers at work. He was making a legal turn and surrounding traffic stopped to let him go. Then some nobber in a merc ignores the stationery traffic, rams his van and claimed our guy drove into him

He got a witness to back up his lie when challenged later. I even exposed the lie to our insurers - our driver said there were no witnesses but this one apparently "returned to the scene later to see the merc driver still there as his car was not driveable after the accident" yet in the Merc drivers own statement he says he "drove off to a meeting after the accident as he was late and just swapped details with our driver then left"

Blatant contradiction, but our insurers still weren't prepared to go to court against an independent witness, even if he may be lying

Just a sick cheating world we now live in - just makes me more angry.

Best of luck mate

Richard :wack:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

yas, cant you find a "witness" someone must have seen something!!!!! ;)

if you're a member of the AA , it might be worth contacting their legal team to see if there's anything you can do.
