Renewed my insurance

It was £795 last year, got it down to £640 this year so I'm quite pleased.

 

Houghton's wouldn't quote me unfortunately as they seem to be the choice of the Z owner so I'm with Bell Direct (who?) again.

 

I guess it's not cheap but nothing good is (except Great White Cider, inexpensive hookers, Jerry Springer and bongs).

    I got insurance for my newly purchased zed today. As its a second car I had no NCB to apply... got quoted £440 fully comp, £260 third party fire & theft by using confused.com!!! The policies were via Direct Choice (brokers) but the insurance company is called Highway Insurance (I think). I was well impressed - it is a limited mileage policy however (and the car is a UK model), but this was half the price of ANYONE else!

     

    As I am a tight git I went for third party, it leaves me with more money to sort out:

     

    propshaft vibration

    rusty sills

    dodgy oil pressure sender

    etc..etc..
