I've found this place to get tyres from y'see.

Part worn perelli 265/18/35 I only needed the one!

 

£40 inc vat/fit/ballance, & its got more tread than the other 3 :)

 

Am I allowed to give'em a 'mench' or is there any forum protocal ?

 

They do all sizes 2cv to 4x4 etc!!!

 

PS. & it aint harves tyres LOL

    only thing i would say is that a lot of tyres from part worn traders come from cars that are written off, many having damaged structure that you cant see.

    Another problem I have found with P/W tyres is their age. Many of these dealers buy container loads of them from the continent(Germany commonly). You have NO idea how old they are! Rubber hardens with age. Alright as a stop gap measure, but drive a 300+bhp super car at speed on tyres that COULD be as old as me? I dont think so! :confused: :(
