Some bazzard has tried to hijack my browser and get into my pay-pal account etc.... how many others have had this done?? I have just upgraded my comp and in the time of me logging on and getting a firewall someone has dropped a virus called CRASH onto me. Cant get rid!! Fookin :xxx: ers

Try using AVG anti virus found at http://www.grisoft.com

 

Also try spysweeper at http://www.webroot.com

 

I never go on the internet with out a firewall.

 

I once formatted and installed windows on my PC with the modem plugged in. I got a virus while windows was installing.

He has both of them Stu and still can't get it off his hard drive:(

 

I too got a virus months ago when I was downloading updates from windows LOL.

I have a Ghost image from when the PC was OK and now when i get a virus i just wipe C: and use the Ghost image

try spybot or cwshredder

Done it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!.Well, i didn't, Mark (munjina) did. We had to wipe the whole computer and start again. The virus was called "Crash" and it fookin did LOL. Keep watch everyone!

Just got rid of the virus on mind today fingers crossed it was in my c:/124845

just delated that after running http://www.grisoft.com and everything ok.Got my homepage back and no hit so far

2 tips.

 

Never install with machine cannected to web.

Install OP and THEN firewall.

 

That way you can stop anything else. Only touble is, sometimes you get a prog you think is safe download the fricking thing. IE Microsoft.
