[Rant]

I arrived at my lockup today where my zed is stored to find the lock all busted. Looks like someone has had a go with a screwdriver :xxx::mad:

My key now won't work. The garage is rented from the council who wanted a crime ref number to be able to fix it  What a waste of time - like the police will actually do anything.

Looks like they are going to fix it tomorrow which is good, hopefully whichever ****er did it hasn't actually got in and fooked around in there :nono: Although I'd like to have seen the *******s try and drive it off. I checked the other garages in the row and none were damaged, I wonder if someone knew what was in there? :mac1:

TonyC - can I borrow your extension lead again, to wire up the door to the mains? :D

thats shitty :( doubt they got in, they never close the door ****ers

how much are you paying for the lockup?

That sucks, probably seen it and decided to have a go at nicking it for a joyride... like you say they would have had a surprise... Makes you feel sick though I know, had my first car stolen from a lockup, I was so gutted, those little bastids deserve to be hung up from their nuts and beaten with a dead skunk in my opinion... :xxx:

Gutting mate.

It's a dillemma - get more external security or don't as it may draw attention to your lock up.

I have some blank firing shotgun trip wire mines you're more than welcome to if you want, even if just to use in the short term in case they come back.

Bad luck Pete. What door/s are they?

Up & over or ply clads (2x sidehung doors)?

Tbh...plyclads are more secure than up & overs,

they're a piece of piss to break into, even the new

multi locking point ones! If they are up & overs, and

they didn't get in, then it's just kids messing about.

The council need a crime ref so they can claim

back the costs from their relevant depts, the police

aren't really interested at all!

You could always fit extra locks, but this just advertises

the fact that you have something desirable in the garage!

HTH...Simon.

Where did you get those craig?, I had one years ago and have been loking for a new one for a while.

Apparently ;) live rounds fit in there as well.

The door is a big rusty heavy metal up-an-over, its pretty hefty. They must have been chancers as anyone could just drill out the rivets easily and the lock would drop off.

Mike they are just over a tenner per week each.

:hyper: Pete got your message , sorry to hear about your garage , could not send you pm as you are up to your limit , email me on noelw11@hotmail.com , and i will e mail you my mob no cheers Noel

I set mine of by mistake when I was living in a flat above an old lady - it was LOUD and gave off a huge cloud of smoke which set the whoile building's fire alarms off!!
