Anyone changed their cloth/tweed panels to Black leather, while keeping the standard black leather seats ?

 

and has pics of it ?

 

Its next on my list, but was'nt sure if it would be too much black leather...instead of a 2 tone option.

Yep, although my panels are PVC, but you get the idea. But I don't like it, and am changing it to Dark red leather, hopefully this coming year.

 

 

Dave, Did you get the vinyl as a kit? Or do it from sheet vinyl yourself.

I cut all the panels out from one large sheet. It's quite easy, but I'd sugest using somthing like EVO-Stick for the glue. I used a spray fabric adhesive, and although it's held over the majority of the panels, it isn't brilliant.

Have a look at SMW1's (Stu :bow: ) site HERE, that'll give you a very good idea of how to do it all.

And don't worry about being a newbie, we all were one day :D, welcome aboard. ;)

I've got a UK series 2 model which has black leather seats and black alcantara panels. Too much black if you ask me. I'd go for the two tone if I was re-doing it.

I do intend to go for a Zcentre retrim at a later stage, probably in Black and Grey, but want to get rid of the tweed now, and without knowing the exact colour grey of the Zcentre kit I cant retrim the panels in grey yet :(

Here's a couple of mine mate - just too bright on one of them me thinks lol
