Just got a new-found respect for my Z

Took a 200-mile-round journey to Andy's to pick up bits for a manual conversion - with only 1st and 2nd gears working - and didnt have a single problem!!!

Imagine spending half an hour at a time at 5000rpm in 2nd gear on the A-roads  :slap: then popping into N for a downhill bit or when approaching a roundabout, then back into 2 at full blast again!

Needless to say I set my tubby timer to about 5 hours wind-down afterwards!!!

Nice one Dave, like Chunk said, you should have given him a shout rather than trashing your boot!! At least you made it though!!

When I took the Auto box off my motor, two of us struggled to carry the fooking thing, does anyone know the actual weight of the autobox? I really wouldnt want to put that in my boot!

That'd be like Chunk AND Macca in the back!! :D

Opec have decided to put up peetrol prices due to the high demand for fuel. Apparently some Fooker emptied their reserves.  :smash: :smash:
