I've done a search but can't find the info. Has anyone bought the full kit recently (ie. replacing all tweed bits) and did you get it fitted by someone? If you did it yourself, how many hours do you reckon it took you in the end? I'm seriously looking to do this and want to get as much info as I can before I decide whether it's a good idea or not lol

I have completed the re-trim of my car in Lt.Grey leather from the zcentre.

 

I took pictures every step of the way but have not wriiten the FAQ yet.

 

The picture below is a little lighter than the actual leather colour.

Looks very Nice Martin. Do you not get the "Z" logo on the back of seat when you go for one colour, or did you just order them without the logo ?

I chose not to have the stiched Z logo. I am looking to perhaps get the Z embossed to give a more subtle finish....

Think its an extra £20 for the Z logos.

 

Very nice Matin, gives more of a 'luxury' look, whereas the charcoal/grey gives a sportier look. IMO

Fitted myself and learnt as I went along....have had the covers off the seats 3 or 4 times to get the finish I wanted :shock:

It's pretty normal, our Z's are getting on a bit! Do a SEARCH to put your mind at rest (and point you in the right direction if you want to fix it) as it has been covered loads of times in the past. :)

Thanks X-biker, Spoke to Zed world & he recons it's a dodgy sender switch that can be replaced for about £85. Will add it to my to-do list for the new year.
