Seat cover replacement fitting help - Headrest stuck

Im halfway thru replacing the tweed drivers seat cover , with a replacement cover courtesy of Daves_new_zx (thanks Dave  ).

Managed to get it 90% of, after fighting with a million of those little metal rings, but Im stuck at the headrest. I cant find how to remove the headrest, or its mounts, which seems to be the only thing holding the cover on now.

Any advice, tips or perhaps a scan of a zcentre leather kit instruction sheet or something ?

Removed the seat and took it in house to work on (loads of legroom in the zed now  ). Missus was well impressed by the mess Im making in the study :nono: Im not so impressed with sore bleeding hands though

Cheers,

David

dont panic ;) I've done it. There was a "secret" clip holding the headrest, which when removed allowed me to unclip the black plastic, and remove the rest of the cover.

....and she sure is pretty ! :x:

Glad you got it sorted mate. Any other probs give me a shout, and I'll see what i can do.

And don't forget the 'Duck Tape'. Bit of a big hole that is  Maybe a small section of foam stuffed in it will help to pad it out.

At least you've had some practise for when you decide to have the leather on :D
