MOT tomorrow.................

Brought my zed on 29th December 2003, with eleven months of ticket still on it.................... So it's about due it's MOT.

08:30 TOMORROW MORNING

Wish me luck guys 'n gals :D........................ PLEASE

One thing I know that'll probably fail, is the headlamp aim, as I never did get it checked out after I took them all apart.

It's had four new tyres this year, a new SS zorst, new rear sus struts. There's no rust around the front sus mountings, it seems rust free underneath. All the lights work properly, seat belts are fine.

The only other thing that is bothering me is that, when the engine gets warmed up, then it doesn't run very well, and I'm worried if this may affect the emissions test

Anyway, i'll report back the good or bad news sometime tomorrow.

Good luck fella :D

Didnt you buy this from Chorley Nissan?

If so then the years gone awful quick!! And dont they offer free MoTs with all cars bought there? They did when my missus bought a GV off them.

Anyway, good luck.

Nick

I pretend to work, they pretend to pay me!

Good luck mate - mine needed the O/S headlamp aim adjusting and a replacement brake pipe - not too bad for a 13 year old car with 100K on the clock!!!!

Well remembered  Yes I did buy it from there.

Whether it's free MOT's or not, I think the 130 miles between here and there somwhat prohibits the 'FREE' bit :D

Hmmmmmm, 260 mile round trip and a free MOT or a MOT @£35 (or whatever it is these days)  ................... Thanks guys, fingers crossed  :duffer:

Dave, best of luck mate, your luck could not be as bad as mine was a couple of weeks ago!!!!

Only slight prob was that the drivers headlamp was out of aim, sorted, and the passenger side was border line, but cant be adjusted. So it looks like some new headlamp adjusters required :D Other than that I'm over the moon :D

Thanks guys for all your good luck

WOOOHOOOOOO!

Well done Dave. My Z is in for its MOT tomorrow. DOnt think it will pass though, with 9 months being off the road its bound to have something that I have missed.

For starters I think it will fail emissions.

Nice one matey!!

Still got 7 months on mine so okay for now :hyper:

Dont fancy doing the emissions trick then mate, just for the MOT.

Probably best to get it sorted properly.

Good luck though ...
