Shite, neither could I. Round here I had to force more sweets on the little kids at Halloween cos they were too polite and only took one each! And they all got properly dressed up with make up and the full jazz. Dont think I could handle all that nonsense off them!

 

Only thing you gotta be careful of when walking down the lanes here is being run over by a feck off big tractor with trailer on its rear. Dont think I'll mind that anymore considering some of the cap you guys have to put up with.

I grew up in the countryside (Yorkshire though, none of that Lancashire nonsense ;)) so all that sounds mighty inviting.

 

Been giving serious though to moving recently, too, now that I work for myself I don't really need to live anywhere specific - trouble is, house prices around here have slipped about 10k in 9 months, so I'm edging into negative equity on the house, and working for myself makes getting a mortgage nigh on impossible too :( Guess I won't be moving for a while..

It had actually doubled in price - sadly I kept remortgaging to feed the greedy bl**dy Z with parts as bits repeatedly fell off it, so now I'm sliding into negative equity. Arse. Really shouldn't have bought the Z.. well, definitely not the 2nd one anyway! :)

I can empathise mate, totally....I used to have savings and a decent bank balance, the Zed has taken that away and got me in double figure K debt.....thats how much its done me.

 

Even now its off the road as my Drive Plate is worn and its knackered the torque convertor neck, allowing oil to leak! :( Anyway, it will be converted to manwell now, had so much sh1t with the auto even after recon'ing the box and TC last year!! SIGH!!

 

I do love it but when one thing controls your life, you do start to wonder. I would never sell it as I cant justify it but it has amazed me how much it controls your money.....my finances revolve around this car TBH....the question is, is it a good thing?

Well I just had a laugh. Load of twats at Uni acosted a girl in the lift. 5 of us Mature Student where heading up when the door opened and she was in tehir crying and some chav stood at teh door and said lifts full. Guy next to me (rugby player) hit him so hard he head butted the twat behind.

Got the girl out, subdued the idiots in the lift and the police just hoiseted them away. Little fooka asulted my hand with his teeth. All this cos the government is paying the bastools £30 a week to go to college.
