Gonna arrange the first ever meeting in Scotland for some time early in the New year. Some time between the 2nd and 5th January. 2nd would be ideal as its a sunday, but not sure if everyone will still be recovering? ;)

Ive had a wee look at everyones location, and i reckon Stirling is probably about as central as we'll get. Dont be put off by a bit of travelling, uncle Chunk's making the trip from leicester. lol

 

Tell me what you think folks, so i can confirm time/location etc.

 

Anyway, i hope we can get a fairly good turnout, it will be good to get the Scottish half of the club up and running. :dance:

Yep, tis true, Im in Scotland for new year (lock up yer daughters) and have been speaking to Scotty about a mini-meet. Would be good to see some of the Scottish members :D

'coz New Years on a weekend this year I reckon most of us will be off on the 3rd & 4th so either one's ok for me. Stirling's no prob - it's only 10mins up the road - there are Services just south where the M9 and M80 meet so handy for most directions.

Good meeting point that. Most of the motorways are kept reasonably clear if there has been a snowfall.

If it is snowing, still be there, bring me old 4x4 instead !! :)

The Pirnhall Inn is 2mins away but I've no idea what it's like. It used to be good a long time ago but that was before it became a Brewers Fare.

Dont hold me too this, but a friend of a friend is a photographer for the mag,

"Fast & Modified" If it is a big enuff turn out, he may make an appearance and do a few photos and an article for the magazine !! :p
