How did people chose their Forum Names??? Some are self explanatory but some are just, well, "interesting"!!!! :confused:

 

Mine stems from the fact that I work on The Apache AH-64 Flight Simulator and whilst registering on the site an Apache was hovering about 200yards outside my office window :hyper:

 

So come on, let us all into the secret of how you chose "Your Name" ;)

Almost self explanatory, except that I didn't have my Zed for quite a while after I'd registered it :D

Mac is my nickname and I had to differentiate myself from MAC1.

What was wrong with MAC2 :D

I am just really imaginative.

I've been known as Peach since I was 7 years old - so it seemed a logical choice :).

I had this at the time I got on the Forums....So just stuck with it! :D

hehe, I used to be in an online gaming team [sMEG] that paid homage to the brilliant Red Dwarf and we all had RD based names, Rimmer, Lister, Kryten etc, etc.. most of the names I liked were taken and every one called me a git! So it was only natural that I adopted my name from the classic RD phrase 'You Smeggin Goit!' :D

 

Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek! (my missus made me put that bit in oo-er)

 

It's kinda been my online identity ever since. one thing tho' it is original and it's safe to say I've never seen another 'Goit' online and I have no trouble getting my user name on *any* forum :D
