basically the server threw one, when doing this it decided to corrupt the database to some degree (I don't know what as it wasn't reporting itself as corrupted) the basic fix to this takes about 15 minutes, however that only worked for about half the forum, the next fix takes 6 hours to run on a database our size, it basically removes every DB entry and reinserts it. when you think of how many records there are for this forum it probably runs into millions.

 

anywho its all back now and hopefully will be sound for the forseeable future, i'm off to get some sleep
