Bought one of these on Sunday, might get to use it on the MR2 track weekend at the end of this month. ;)

 

Notice that it's in blue although mine is more of a lovely electric blue, will go nicely with my blue/white Yam R6...when I get it! PMSL :D

Reason i bought this one is that is the same helmet that i had on when i had my accident and it stood up to the beating very well, I have no pics in afraid but its just the best lid i know.

cameras out of action at the moment but i can tell you, mine has a bit more red in it than your blue one and the bird says its a bit too big for her, but i mustn't get a smaller one as she wants to grow into it---- well it was obvious someone was going to bring the tone down

I have Arai: Corsair, Astro R, Astro J, Quantum F, Shoei: XR800, XR900 (X2), X-Spirit, Shark: RSR, RSX, RSF, Simpson Superbandit, Craft RX9, Suomy Extreme a couple of off-road lids and some cheapies.

NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Not those bloody HORRID things! Yeah, they look OK(ish) but you can't see feck all out of them on a bike, and the interior fit (on the older versions of the 'Bandit' at least) was shite. Oh, and they were illegal for use on the road with a motorbike (coz they're a car racing lid innit!) Having said that, there is a F-1 car racing shop just down the road from work (next to Honda at Power Road) who do the full range of car lids. Some stunning quality, but prices of over £1000 :eek:

 

Only 2 lids on the market for bikes in my book, Shoei or Arai and you go for either depending on what shape head you've got (I've got a Shoei shaped head :p )

They are in a different league to all the other in terms of fit and finish.

Nice one, nice to know that I've bought a decent lid although my mate has a black XR-1000 Shoei for riding his R1. My Bro bought an AGV which is nice but a pig for swapping visors as he found out in the bike shop on Sunday when he asked one of the lovely girls to show him how to get it off...ohhhhh errrrrr Mrs. Trust me, it ain't as easy as on my Shoei! LOL :D
