I remember a while ago I saw some splash guards (colour coded or sprayed) and wondered how easily these can be obtained?

Eg: Here is a silver 300 with them on...

I think it bulks out the wheel arches quite nicely...

Keep an eye on the For Sale Forum. I managed to pick up a set from AndyZ for £30-00. Gonna get them colour coded and fitted.

Make sure you take a picture before and after!

if you buy a Z they come with it

I very rarely see 300s with them still on...

I also like thes mudgaurds. Can anyone clear up the following:

Can they be bought from Nissan direct?

What would the cost be including VAT?

Do they come as a set or would i need to buy them seperately?

Will they come colour coded?

Are they the same for LWB/SWB?

Are they easy to fit?

Will i need to alter the body work in any way?

Will they be supplied with fitting kit?

If i had aftermarket bumpers would they still fit?

Has anyone had any experience fitting these?

Does anyone have befor/dutringg/after photos of these being fitted?

Hope you can help guys. I would need to know everything there is to know about mudgaurds before i purchased a set.

Will do - but it's not likely to be until into the new year. Need to get a new panel to fit between the headlights - Bomex or Nismo style haven't decided yet and also a replacement spoiler. Nearly got one from Beermonster but it looks like I was too slow.

Is that enough information for you, or would you like me to go into exact fitting details......... or would you like me to come and fit it for you as well, as you are a SUBSCRIBED member ;)

I think only Jap imports had them as standard! PMSL @ Dave

Sorry, i feel like i still dont know enough.

Would they be easily damaged if i accidently hit them whilst tyrekicking?

Not sure if im delivering the sarcasim well enough. :slap:

Ive got an upainted set exact to these that i bought but never fitted because I'm now going for a wide arch and sill kit, theyre made of rubber so they dont get damaged, but if they were painted it would be like the O.E spoiler, the paint would crack if over flexed, its down to what you want,

Do they mount by just a couple of bolts in effect pinching the wheel arch?

I find it helpful to firstly have a wheel arch to pinch them to.

You got body work probs?

No, simply suggesting that you will find 300zx mudflaps much more useful with a 300zx to attach them to.

Ahhh - I see... You were just being facetious. Silly old me for expecting good natured conversation.

Try http://www.tyrekicker.net they're very helpful over there and can help with most of your queries.
