I did 550 miles in the Z this weekend going to a mate's 30th birthday piss up in Wales.

Filled up once at at 347 miles, put in 55 litres which is about 28.5mpg.

I was pretty impressed. That was about two thirds motorway and the rest in towns / back lanes.

My 200SX S13 would have only done about 30mpg on that trip.

Congratulations!

That's about 10mpg more than I'm getting at the mo...

I got 32mpg driving to Scotland. 90% of it was motorway and I was at 60mph for most of the way.

I have already gone through £30 of petrol and the car has only been driven 1 or 2 miles in total

I've never bettered 26mpg, normal day-to-day is about 21mpg

Ive had good figures, 30+mpg on long runs, cant remember the best now.

I remember the worst though that was 11 on short winter runs.

Thats cus you drive like a girl and yer cars slow!

Not a bad mpg, I would be happy with that...

I havn't found the Zed to be too much of a guzzler on motorway runs at all. Quite surprising really. It's only on Friday and Saturday nights when I get through £40 of Petty a night....

Worth every penny though, all I say to people who sneer and say "yeah but what's the mpg like? hrr hrr" (why do people feel the need to do that? Jealousy I suppose) is I wouldn't have bought a car like this if I was worried about petrol. That soon shuts them up as they go and get in their nice economical family cars. Morons.

Every time I get in it I cant help wasting loads of optimax, am running a little rich at the mo though but 20mpg ish.

Having said that....I dont care!!
