Bought myself a 1999 Triumph Daytona 955i at the weekend!!!

She's a beaut!!! Caspian Blue with a handmade unseat exhaut system, mmmmmm!!!

 

I have a question for you bikers though, I need to get a few bits and pieces, standard exhaust for MOT, pillion seat and pegs) any ideas where I can pick these parts up for cheap?

The exhaust it's got on at the 'mo is staight through, so she sounds absolutley awesome!! I'm sure Mr MOT won't like it though!!

Quite a few biker folk on there sell bits etc

 

Or one of the premium-rate breaker search lines like Partfinder (09060 330330). They fax loads of breakers and any with the right bits get back to you. If you just want a can for MoT time a scuffed one would be ok and that should be cheap.

 

I mint standard can would be expensive.

Ebay is another option for bits.

 

My firestorm has straight through Hi-levels on, and sets off car alarms as I go by, but I bought a couple of metal plates off ebay, stuck em on with "double sided sticky tape" and she went through. My MOT guy is "understanding" tho.

 

If you have a custom made exhaust, the previous owner may have robbed your footrest and ehaust hangers :(
