Oh dear, what have those STUPID Americans done now  Another 4 years of Christian/Capitalist fundamentalism, where the 'American Way' is rammed down the planets throat at economic or military gun-point. :xxx:

No we don't. We're doing OK. Go and live somewhere else for a while and see the TRUTH. Stop saying what everyone else says.

America does not effect us that much. On a personal level you can go and live under a tree if you want to. You don't have to live in this 'capitalist, Christian World'

Me, I've lived in USA and UK and Zimbabwe. I'd rather live here.

Chris Davies

Chris

That is my opinion formed from my own observations. I've lived and worked overseas too.

But I respect your opinion too.

Craig David all over your... boink!

Thats how much I care about the american elections :D I suppose it is important but its boring as **** isnt it.

Bush is bad news for world stability, no one country is the worlds police. Anyway more importantly bush staying will increase petrol prices (they fell last week when people thought he was going) and thats bad for us i'm paying 93p/litre thats about $7.75gal

Craig (?)

I certainly respect your thoughts. But I just hear the same thing time and time again. USA = bad, Bush = EVIL , Republicans = Worshippers of Satan!!, etc etc.

People speak in 'tabloidspeak'. They are never 'mildly pissed off' when their newspaper changes shape they are always 'furious'. That's bo44ocks!

Bush (like Tories) is only a trifling distance away from Kerry (Labour). The outcome of this election will not effect us one iota.

But, at least you've thought about it. I have a dreadful feeling that hardly anyone normally gives a toss. Rather like that chap on the Fast Show who keep agreeing with everyone else!!

We'll see, I guess.

Cool.

Me too!

(I've had my lunch and calmed down now anyway!)

Chris,

I think your right about there not being too much difference between parties and all we have to go on is what we hear in the media. However, their whole foriegn policy is beyond belief. Luclky i live in n.ireland which has plenty of problems of its own and our friends in the middle east will probably leave us alone.

If you like da Bush I would suggest watching Farenheit 911 and then maybe you'll change your mind about him and his Father!

I hope you're right.

I take joy from the fact that most people, most of the time and in most of the places are good. We are genetically programmed to be altruistic.

Life is good

And people in the UK are any better voting tosser in?

Oh by the way, free legal aid for home owners is the next thing to go by the looks of it.

Most people outside US are only looking at stuff that effects them, whereas people in the USA are looking at that and the stuff that effects them, for example military men are given a much better package with a wage increase of 3.25% and better support for their family under bush.

whilst I don't support bush, the majority of the people in the US have chosen them as their leader, more than likely because a lot of people don't see kerry as a strong leader. It appears he may have won it fair and square this time and that has to be respected. Of course this now means we will have an election before spring so blair can use the USA results to ride in on.

id go and live in the us tomorrow if i could.........so he must be doing something right

Fartenheit 9/11 has been proven to be nothing more than a party political broadcast by Micheal Moore and he has used his artistic 'licence' to cut n paste bits together, a clever combination of facts, half truths, supposition. I'm not saying a lot of it isn't true, but IT IS NOT a documentary. Even the Office is made to look like a documentary. If it was, why isn't it on the Discovery channel?

To be honest I don't believe anything Micheal Moore has produced. Bowling for columbine I thought initially was good, but cross section it, and you will find sensationalism and clever sticking together of pieces that is very misleading.

Like the part about a little girl that got killed by a little boy (tragic :( ) Moore intonated that the NRA immediately had a gun rally in this town. It was in fact a town on part of the NRA's annual tour route and they abstained from holding the rally there for two years as a mark of respect. He also makes Canada out to be some kind of paradise in comparison, believe you me, Canada has it's own gun & crime problem areas.

Well no denying that the Bush family and the US have been good buddies with the Bin Laden family for a long time, also no denying that post September 11th not much got done about going after Osama straight away and no denying that even though every plane in the US was grounded the Bin Ladens were flown out!

Like someone said in the film, if you had a suspected terrorists' entire family living in your back yard and something as catastrophic as 911 had just happened then surely you would have had every relative straight in for interrogation, not flying them MO FO's out of the country FFS!

Say what you like mate but Michael Moore did actually present quite a bit of footage and even documentation that had been tampered with even though he showed us originals of the same official documentation that he managed to get a few years prior.

All IMO of course! ;)

Conspiracy Theories are the result of the sum of many unproved facts.

Farenheit 9/11 is the work of a conpspiracy theorist with a big budget and a film crew.

Errrr! He was a major drug smuggler, allways stoned and the USA kept bunging him in jail! I'm sure his opinion of the Columbian government was great though!

ROFL :D
