Right guys quick question

 

If we had a Zed only track day how much are you willing to pay??

 

or how much is a good price??

 

More importantly how many are willing to go??

 

I only ask because i would love to arrange this but it has been tried before and failed so before i go on any further i want numbers so i will start

Come on you pussies this is a chance to get on a top track and either take it easy, medium or all out its up to you and more important without any other chavs, scoobies etc etc to worry about just us zed owners.

 

I am also going to ask the zclub as well as i dont feel there will be enough numbers from here but prove me wrong :)

120laps, 6 sessions, 20 mins a session, about 1 min per lap not including warm up / cool down laps, quick crx mr ;)

it is pretty quick..

I did 120 lap miles on the day, and a ton of fuel...

I believe the indy circuit is a shade over 1 mile?????

 

It was a great day, but I was a little sdisspointed, cos I thought the car would get better speeds...

 

I exited clearways onto the start finish straight, and the highest speed I could do that at was about 75mph. by the time I got to the end of the start finish straight, I could only get it to 100. then hard braking and round Paddock hill at 80. (and that was sliding it too :shock: )

The VTEC is a 150bhp car, and doesnt weigh much... (you wanna buy it??? LOL)

Right well looks like Oulton park is far too expensive so looking at alternatives

I would pay up to £250 Have done track days on my bike Donnington, Cadwell Park & Snetterton. They my do track days for cars dont know :nono:

Cost £110 on me bike :hyper: Did about 20 laps per group x five. to tanks of petrole one set of rubber £160 but great :dance:

I dont know about everyone else but i would rather have a zed only track day?? or am i being a snob??

Afternoon Kirbz,

 

Looks like this one has cooled off a bit, BUT also looks like there are so far about 14 interested drivers.

 

General opinion (well of those that expressed an opinion) is that a Z only day would be prefered.

 

Maybe there'll be more after christmas, when everone has worked out how much we can afford....

 

Just to let you know my feelings again, I'd prefer Brands Hatch, and a couple of hundred quid.

If it can be done for that kinda money DEFINATELY count me in, if any more,\ I'll just have to sell something first!!

i'd go and could probably bring some mates with decent track machinery along with me, ........ but zeds only and all that. :( at least you'd have enough people and may get this thing organised.

I personally think the best way to get this going, is one day, a few of us go to a track day together. Dont try to make it a Z only meeting straight away.

The the word will spread on how good it was and more people will join to the next time a few of us get together for a track day. And then maybe, we can go for a Z track day when more people have experienced it.
