M3 style mirrors

I know there not to everyones taste - but i want to get some of them M3 (DTM) type mirrors for my Z - anyone know how hard they are to fit with regards to the adaptor plate that comes with them ??

    to be honest a real pig.

     

    SE are fitting some for me at the moment but they are fabricating the base plate from scratch. Now they have made the base plates however they should be able to fit them fairly easily.

     

    It might be worth giving PeterR a bell - mention me (alex wheeler) and seee how much they charge.

    i might just do that - was gonna have a go myself but it may be a disaster. Ive found the mirrors i want for 50 quids (chrome m3 type ones) but thats 50quid down the drain if i cant make a base plate.

     

    Suppose i could try and fibreglass one up - but then i would need to buy the mirrors as a fit sample - oh damn it !!
