i got a leaking heater

i got a leaking heater do i really have to take out all of the dash plus steering wheel to get to it,,,,,also i have started this job can anyone tell me whats the easiest way to do it and i am having trouble finding all the screws that hold the dash in place if there is an easier way to do please let me know

I forgot to say. If it is an auto you can use the above method but if it is a manual then I think you do have to remove the dash.

lol having done a few of these now I would still opt to take the dash out every time

probably would be a lot easier mate. I haven't done this as yet and I am defo not looking forward to doing it (if the worst happens). I would probably bypass the pipes and take it to you. LOL

looks like the dash has got to come out,,,just wondering if i bypassed the heater could i keep that like it until i get the reddies to take it to a garage alright i might freeze my ass off but least i get to drive it

Yep ... quite drivable with the bypass. Then when you have the dosh you can sort it out.
