Oil leak from roof - WTF!?!?

Just got back from a good thrash around town and my mate in the passenger seat noticed two or three spots of oil on his clothes. After looking all over the car I noticed a buildup of oily fluid (brown, thick, neither cold nor hot) around the area just ahead of the targa (normally where your internal alarm sensers go - in fact my senser was covered in it) at the top of the A pillar!

I took the roof off to check but there was nothing there. Its as if this fluid has risen along the nearside A pillar!!!

ย

Can someone please bring me back to sanity!

There is a drain hole just above that spot, it could be blocked and with the heavy rain recently could be overflowing the "gutter", if its been blocked for a while, the dust and shit that gathers there could be turning the water sludgy

If if you put anything on the rubber seals to help them against leaking.

It could be that mixed with water.
