Best wishes - lots of nice ppl in hospitals !

One of the best times I remember in hospital was when I was in traction with a smashed up femur. Lying on my back, hardly able to move (back was busted as well) in the middle of summer. There was a GORGEOUS brunette nurse (I'm sure she was lovely but it could have been the morphine) who always used to open the window by my bed. To do this she had to climb up onto the table beside the bed, and STRADDLE between that and the head-rest of the bed. ;) ;) Took my mind off things for a while! LOL!

Then I got transferred to a private hospital with my own room/bathroom etc. Had all me mates round for some major puffing sessions and got the nurses to bring tea, cake and biccies!! :hyper:

Have FUN!!!

N.b - Don't forget to take some money for a Patientline Voucher so you can watch the TV!!! no porn but it's better than nothing!!!

Cheers,

Pete

Best of luck Chunk I'm sure it'll all go well. I was lucky I when I got my hip and thigh smashed up I suppose (what a daft thing to say. I would have been luckier if the blind tw@t hadn't tryed to kill me and mi bike) but after my initial opp and 3 month stay I only had to go back for iron mongery removed and that was aways daunting enough.

You'll get through it and you'll be OK I'm sure mate. You got plenty of people her rooting for ya. So let us know which ward you going to be in and we can ensure that your embarrassed on a regular basis ;)

Good Luck

Fookin ell chunk i know your not small, but theyve actually given you TWO wards, no wonder theyve got no beds left for the old people!!!!

Cheeky little fekker............you just wait!!! :D

Good luck matey,

Don't forget your tape measure to make sure both legs are the same length when they've finished.

Your missus won't be happy if they're different lengths and you end up wearing a hole in the carpet by walking around in circles :nelson:

Kamina - You got it all wrong. I think she'll be more concerned with his middle leg not losing any length.

Chunk - Make sure they don't start making incisions on the worng leg!

Good luck buddy and see you soon!

Cos
