OK, ive not sorted out a location for this one yet but, I think we should have this one a bit further south as the northants/daventry/milton keynes lads have travelled the furthest so far to every meet. I would be looking somewhere easily accessable from the M1 and M6 so if any of you south mids lads know a place please PM me.

What i do know that it will be on a Sunday and kick off will be for 12 noon.

Other than that there is a RWYB at the pod on that day, maybe we could have a meet there.

Let me know your ideas and what you think, I'd like to get this arranged by this Sunday coming. :D

At this meet i am looking at sorting out about 5/6 locations scattered all over the midlands for the fortnightly meet and then rotating them. I want to also see what you guys would like to do next year. Ive had a few ideas and some great ones have been mentioned in other threads.

Thanks

Rich :D

Yep good idea ,Santa Pod would be great this time round

Tony

If its at the pod , might get the fezzer down there. ;)

So, looks like the Pod so far, remember i need to know by Saturday what everyone wants to do, so i can get a place sorted.

This will be the last chance for a RWYB at the pod as a meet this year.

Mickey, you take yer dads Fezzer and i'll take yer mums AMG, hows that sound! :D

Rich, not make it to the pod bud,but when you sorted a regular sunday meet

let me know! :)

Aye!!

Not a problem mate, as said i will sort out a few different locations and then they'll be rotated every 2 weeks.

As soon as i know where etc, I'll post it up straight away!

Rich

Rich,

I'll go with the majority, Santa pod is cool with me, but i doubt i'll run the zed.

I'm away for the weekend now, so i look forward to seeing the decision when i get back Sunday night.

I'll have a think about MK or Northants places for a meet in the future.

Steve

Nice one Steve :D Have a good weekend bud!

I wont be running my Z either, it only has 1 and a half turbo's!! :(

Roll on next year and a lot of cash later :D:D:D

OK, I've had notification that im having my next and hopefully last op on the 29th October.

So, i will still arrange this one, but at a guess i wont be able to arrange any meets for the 4 weeks thereafter.

I will only be in Hossy for around 10 days and when im back out i'll be on here like a shot!

Wish me luck

A shit scared Rich! :(

Hey Rich, if you still want a meet arranged while you incapacitated, or if you simply have a Mobility issue getting to a meet, let me know.

I'll aim to provide any support you need.

  • 1 year later...

As I'm looking to buy a Z I have been advised to attend a meet and meet people and cars, which I'm more than happy to do.

most meets seem to be too far for me (I'm based in Dunstable) so Northants. is not too far or Milton Keynes area.

If there is anything going on then I hope you don't mind a newbie attending.

Thanks

Steve

Beeeeeeeeeeelimey!!

Old post this one Steven, We are having a meet in Derby on Sunday, your more than welcome to pop up and join us!!!

Unfortunately the midlands covers a large area and we hold meets in all corners, just so happens that this one is a more northern mids one, but hey, it would be good to see a newbie at a midz meet!!

All the best

Rich

:x: good lord......I didnt notice it said 2004....

Thanks for the reply. Derby is a little too far for me this time.

Do you perhaps think I'd be better of in the SE Meets area, being based in the Home Counties I always have founf with most clubs that this area is never covered.

Any advise is appreciated. ;)

Steve

Steve,

Proberbly best just to keep yer eyes in both the midlands and the SE/SW area's!!

HTH

Rich

Will do. Thanks again. I did a post 'Newbie in the middle' in the SE section....but got no reply so I'll keep my eyes and ears peeled.

Steve
