Was well impressed with the 300zx lads mate,Jaffa ran a 12.6 at one stage,Chunk managed close to 13.2,and others ran,not sure of the times,what impressed me was how peeps are getting there times quicker every time they go to Pod,Jaffas time of 12.6 is the fastes Z(minor mods too!)that i have seen in 5 years at least,infact all times were so so good,shame i could not run,but thats another story,saw one supra from DJ Graig autos run,but it was crap considering what power it was supposed to be pushing,and not one GTO out there,where were there big hitters :D

I'm only pulling your plonkers, you know me;) Actually I agree with you, good to see some Zeds racing. Whose was the dark blue with the drag radials? Saw that run a few impressive times,whats the spec on that?.

 

Most impressive to me of the day was the fensport team! 2 GT4's doing low 11,s!

 

Plus Mr Sideburns doing repeated 9's! Even gave ronnie the hazard lights on a 9.6!

DJ Craigs Supra. That apparently has been brought over from japan as a drag car? I guess it needed sorting as it seemed poorly? Also one of ours ran a 11.9 on STOCK tubs!!! Now that is impressive. What is more impressive and to echo Tonys point, is that that supra has been built on a very limited budget and repeated track time with a huge amount of perservance and thought. With alot of big money going into 9 second cars (which lets face it, it is all down to how much money you have) its brilliant to see people keep at it, and improve.

Ha ha,yes i guessed as much, :rolleyes: ,will probably go the same way as the Soarer they brought over earlier in year,first ever run in the Uk it did 11sec,next run 11.8,next run 12.5,then it dissapeard,it emerged today and ran crap,i could go on about a certain thing i encounterd with them earlier in year but not worth the effort.

Was the red RX7 that was running 10's there?

Was impressive last time it was there. What sort of times was he getting? Think he was

I think it ran a high 10 secs John.

Also there was an orange Supra there that was running what looked like 12" ish rear Rims with fairly Phatt Slicks and that ran a 10 sec quarter.

My favourite of the day was Andy Barnes R34 Skyline that ran around 9.4 secs and he totally killed Rocket Ronnie in his Skyline. He was even cheeky enough to hit the brakes just before the finish line as if to say "Come On Ronnie catch me if you can" that went down well with the crowd, What a car.....
