Anybody interested in a rolling road shoot out?

If there is enough interest, i could have this arranged. It would work out at around £20 each. Maybe even get a magazine to come along. :)

Really looking for around 12 or more cars.

let me know.

:cool:

Wanted to gauge interest first, then find somewhere as central as possible. Spoken to Star Performance in Kirkcaldy and it would be no problem there. I was thinking of arranging it for some time in the new year to give everyone plenty time. Doesnt seem to be much interest though.

Scooby guys are always up for that. I was invited one time and saw loads go through that place in Glenrothes (I think). I did think about putting the zed on it but after listening to the racket I thought I might be bringing the car back in bits afterwards

Seemed like madness. On one evo they needed 3 fat blokes in the back to keep it on the rollers

Yeah, it used to be in Glanrothes but they've moved to Dysart now. All new gear. :)

No real rush to book anything so ill see how much interest we get. I might bring along a couple of mates too. Doesnt have to be all zeds. If we can get the numbers up, ill prob get it booked in a couple of months or something. Depends what suits everyone.

No bother John, it should be a good day anyway. :)

just a quick update.

The boys from sxoc.co.uk are having a similar day at Dastek in Dalgety bay this Saturday. I've asked if its ok to pop along just so i can see what to expect.

Dastek is a good venue for this too, pretty central and they have software that can show details of thecorrection factors, gear used, mph per 1000 rpm, ramp rate, power at wheels, power at flywheel, drag, torque, boost, AFR & a summary, i.e peak torque of

237 lbft @ 3672 rpm etc.

I reckon this could make for a good day. Let me know :)
