I can hear a buzzing sound from near the footwell somewhere,it is intermittant but when it does the idling shifts from 750 then shoots up to 1200 then down to 600......is there an idling relay that could be loose or have a bad connection somwhere down there????

Getting some sweet mechanical love by the sounds of it

Have a word with Jeff, I'm sure he could suggest a 'fix', like ear plugs or somet  well you won't be able to hear it anymore, whats the problem? :D

I would suggest you take a grinder to the footwells, once you have completly removed them you should find that the sound has dissapeared.
