I have loads of these and I suspect that this thread will either be embarassing or very funny.

A couple of my own little challenges :

1) Car Park Barrier. To get into the car park at work, I have to swipe a card through a card reader to get the barrier up. I am not allowed to stop moving forwards while swiping the card through the machine.

2) Indicator matching. If I'm sitting behind a car with indicators on and have no passengers then I have to flick my own indicator on and off in time with the car in front and mustn't get out of time ?

3) Motorway lane changes. I'm not allowed to touch cats eyes.

4) Wipers on intermittent - I have to predict where I'll be when it next wipes.

Why ? I haven't a bloody clue.

Am I weird ?

Dave

get your passenger (preferably completely nuts) to put the seat down and duck down so they cant be seen, then drive along side someone on a dual carriage way road and pull level, as the person looks over signal to your mate to jump up making stupid faces and waving his arms around - alittle dang-geroos maybe but you'll laugh when you see the other driver jump out their skin!

Anyone know a supplier for revolving number plates ?

  • The windscreen wiper thing
  • Watching the oil pressure gauge - and worrying
  • Trying to make 150 miles before the petrol gauge hits half-way
  • Trying to negotiate the speedhumps at work without clouting the undercarriage
  • Trying to approach a corner as quickly as possible and go round without touching the brakes, just to make the guy behind feel inadequate
  • The cats eyes thing
  • Hanging the tail out in the wet just to scare people who are following too closely
  • Approaching speed cameras, 30mph limits etc and braking at the last possible moment - hard
  • Finding 'safe' parking places, such as corners, single spaces etc.
  • Checking on the Techtom whether the BSCV really does come on at 59 deg C
  • getting the instrument lighting 'just right' at night
  • Avoiding using the windy wipers because I have Rain-X on the screen

S'funny, added to this thread yesterday and it never made it to the top

biggrin.gif LOL biggrin.gif

I do the breaking thing round corners and I love playing chicken on single wide carriageway roads like the A5 when overtaking down a nice long stretch!

Andy, I worry about you, just glad I haven't been out in that car with you now after seeing the Silver Dream machine you've got in the garage! wink.gif

Sorry, nosing around your pics on your homepage...tee hee hee! biggrin.gif

Underneath that mild mannered appearance you're an absolute nutter geeZer! LMAO biggrin.gif

After every mile, looking down:

Is oil pressure where it was a mile ago? Check!

Is temperature where it was a mile ago?

Check!

Is the petrol gauge where it was a mile ago?

Shit, it's gone down even more!

God, I love my Z!

Tim,

Yep, that old 2 wheeled bus in the garage would top 165 - and that was 10 years ago. Used to have loads fun on the A1. You ever hit the Northbound slip road coming into Stevenage doing 160+ or 110 through the Gunnelswood road underpass ???
