Porsche Carrera 03 reg, had a play on the wandsworth one way and left him for dead on the A3, coming back on the same day a Subaru looked like a jazzed up one (to me they all look like a dodgy minicab with a bad bodykit), kept up all the way to 40 then it was Taaraa :D

The only things I don't really like about the RX8 are:-

1) The huge lump of plastic at the rear. The black ones hide this though.

2) Not quite fast enough.

3) Too many around. I wonder if its on fleet car/company car lists as its 4 door!?

I thought the RX8 was nice when they first came out but the more I look at them they just don't jell. I hate the three quater view from behind as your going past em. It looks like thr front wheel arch has been stuck on afterwards or that the car should have running boards. Its just my opinion , but thats what maters to me.

Design flaw? That's exactly how they were designed to work? Quite a clever design IMHO...

Well no different to any other two door sports car. They have cleverly fitted an extra two doors in where conventionally there were none. ie: Like a 300.

It pushes 190 BHP out of the box - personally id say that is crap !

From a safety point of view that is a really crap design!

How? The only alternative is two doors. How is their design worse than two doors?

 

It's a very clevel design allowing far better access into the car than a conventional two door design.

They're obviously aiming more at the mass market. This is not a "super car". It's practically company car material!

Slow as anything, as Mark(Topless) already said, there isnt any competition.....bit like the MR2 once u get going! :x: ;)

Fair enough... Personally I think they've done a good job nudging a two door sports car towards the practicalities of a four door car, without comprimising too much.

 

The car is basically no different to a standard two door coupe, except there's the bonus of the two rear quarter doors.

I would like to see a turbo version which is the "sports" version...

I cant help feeling that way about em, i loved the Rx7 with a passion - and all time great.

Yes, they've definately mediocred it!

Theres an ''all-new'' rx7 coming out next yr i believe.

2 door coupe is different though - the doors are longer in order for the rear passengers to get out. Compromise that with a 4 door design and set alight to the ****er - listen to the screams :eek:
