Im looking to upgrade (again)!

So whats this little lot worth as a serious pose & stoping package.

To finance my new ones.

18" rear alloys 9.5j/18 suited with ZR 265/40/18

18" fronts 8.5j/18 suited with ZR 245/35/18

Brembo 356mm x 30mm flow drilled rotors.......Thats 14" discs ;) See pic.

Huge red Brembo racing calipers see pic.

With two complete sets of spare pads already glazed off.

All the spacers, geometry kit, fixings, calibration brackets the whole package.

This breaking system has been on my car now for a couple of years and is extremly good - bloody orsome good, on a track day, middle pedal = nosebleed. Many of you have seen them on my car Billing / trax, whatever.

So you know whats im on about.

The book price was 5K for discs & calipers on there own, looking for a complete sell off 'gestimate' figure.

Brakes will be sold to me...........OK harve ;)

harve dident i meet you at billing and you said these took over a year getting the discs&callipers to fit  :D

Looking for figures/gestimates on the whole package guys.

That he did!

Have they been modified to fit mate or was the car modified?

I've already got 4 pot brembos but the discs do look sweet ;)

Why are you thinking of getting rid? surely you cant get bigger disks on there? and I doubt much bigger callipers under any wheels?

Alloys about 750 perhaps a bit more depending on nick, brake kit I would say around 1k-1.5k. (bearing in mind you can buy 15" disk and GT calliper kits for around 3k new)

Greg you & Steve were parked next to me at Billing, I think I even cooled ya beers down in my fridge.

They did take a year or so to get absolutly presise Greg because there off of a car that cost about 100k+ , but my car is a hobby :)

Steve mate, I have found the ultimate show/track set up ;) just need the spare shillings.

Nuff said  ;)

mmmmm 15" disc + caliper = what size & make of wheel to fit a Z Steve mate? Sounds like what i've found :D

Vince has probably got a set anyway........chromed of corse! LOL. No offence mate :)

Yup that was me mate, chilled the beers a beut, and I had to give you a jump start lol ;)

I'm not sure who the UK outlets are for the GT brembos?;

These are the 12" version, however you can buy brembo light weight racing kits and GT kits with 380mm disks and 4 or 8 pot callipers (dependant on fit under wheels!) in the GT range like these;

This sites only got merc, ferrari and bmw fitments, so not sure how hard they will be to fit to Z or if they do a pack.

From the looks of it you need 18's for 4 pot and 19's for 8. Prolly looking at about 4000 USD so around 3k, im sure someone in this country must do em!

They look the Mutts Nutts mate.

Just bringing this upto date now - Im still up for offers on this orsome set up, hell i'll even help ya fit it (if you've got a sunday to spare). It will take the hole day believe me !

I will however need a set of UK wheels & legal tyres in the deal!!! as the new set of alloys & composite breaks - are shall we say ongoing ;)

By the way this set of wheels 'pictured' is the only set on a japanese car, nevermind a 'Z' a one off (so i've been told).

They look good now - I was about to get them chromed ........ when ... :hyper: ... ;)

Serious stuff........serious offers........ + ...UK wheels & tyres.

How much??

Well the F50 kit second hand on the GTR board was sold for about £1100 and can be bought new for about £1800 but thats cheap i thing it retails at £2500 but the F50 kit is about the same as yours but is 6 pot.

The next kit up is the enzo kit which is 385mm, 8 pot and its just scrummy, if you search i posted a pic of a skyline with the ifrst set in the world on.

Not sure about the alloys buddy

But depending on what happens in the next few weeks i could be interested in the brakes ;)

Kirbz

So and its a big SO! for the.....disc's/calipers/fitting kit/shimms/spare pads/wheel spacers/captive bolts/wheels & tyres (2 new) /Z valve caps/& help fitting - coz you'll need it whoever you are! Trust me!!!

Would £2000 + UK wheels & tyres sound about right? in theory???

Also am i right in being told that - the 5 series bmw stud geometry is the same as a Z?

Hi all,

A couple of pm's - but a huge response on the mails & offers thankyou.

Some want this, some want that, some want me to make the spacers for there cars! Ok but.... Theres more to it than that! So no can do sorry. Unless i can spend a lot of time & geomety/math on your car! = £

Idealy my set up is sold as a set, If no one wants the set - I will sell as a breakdown - but the calipers are huge & they might not fit your Z set up & wheels without extra engineered parts etc, there is only 1.4mm of clearance between the caliper & wheel (cold) - it took a year to get the to get mine perfect, you know you've seen them.

Hope this answers a few questions.
