1. Children and various other people will wave at you as you pass

3. No-one wants to race it - all I've had so far from the local parade of so called "fast-car" drivers is a shake of the head and a smile

4. It scares the crap out of me and gives me the biggest grin in the world at the same time when I put my foot down

5. It's the best looking car in my entire town especially with the T-tops off

6. All my friends now hate me

8. Women love this car. It's crazy how they flag you down to have a "chat" in town... shame I'm getting married at the end of the month ;)

11. It is even more fun pissing all over all the annoying Nova/Corsa etc. brigade knowing that all they can see is a green glowing "300ZX" sign flying off in the distance (after I'm done with them of course hehe)

Damn, I wish that was true where I live. People wan't to race me whenever I take the beast out. They soon see how pointless it is though ;) It does get to be a bit of a PITA after a while.

 

It is great when you floor it and leave them standing though. The kids where I live love the car and even come to meet it as they hear it coming down the road. :rofl: They say .. 'Great car mate, I wan't one of them one day' 'how fast can it go?' 'Are those 5" tailpipes?'

I never used to bother with stuff like that (apart from the Cavalier.. lol) - gets a bit boring, and not much point risking points just to show up a Nova..

 

Exige's/Subarus/Porsches are much more fun :) (Even if you do get beaten occasionally)

As you can see this is just an example of what happens when you contract Z'steria. Believe me you will want to go faster. You will spend money and go faster. Is the car stock or does it have any toys yet.

 

In 4.5 years I've spent over £20,000 on mine and I still haven't done the seats. Planned for the winter is an other £4,000 ish to be spent in a Flug wide arse, a mean front end and full respray because every man and his dog has copied the colour I had it painted last time. :mad:

LOL don't get too many races round here BUT I aint lost one yet. That includes porkers, scoobies, evo's GT4s etc, both on straights and on twisties. Then again I'm not exactly what you'd class as 'sane' :D Had a mate holding on so tight to the passenger seat he left nail marks in it :eek: :D

It's had a twin 5" exhaust put on it, a turbo Timer (Very handy except at petrol stations) apart from that I'm not really sure, I suppose I'll know a bit more about it when I come to the next Zed meet. When is the next one by the way? Would love to come along and meet some other Zed owners, you guys might be able to tell me if I'm running stock boost or not... :D

I tell you what getting a good 0-60 time is bloody hard, best I've had is 5.6 on the 3rd attempt, but I'm still spinning the wheels in 1st too much. I need to find a good road and measure a 1/4 mile. See what it can do. By far the most impressive so far is it's overtaking ability in 4th 5th, any gear really. It just flies :bow:

You must have learnt at the same driving school as me. I think my driving is fine yet I had a mate squeeze the door handle that tight it's left a perminant impression.

 

I've also had a female passenger screaming in the front seat, but thats a different story :shock:

If 3rd gear doesn't get the adrenaline pumping then you're probably stuck in safety boost LOL. Never felt anything pull like a zed on form in 3rd gear :eek:

Well, All I can say is that mine pulls well. I often find that if I am on a clear stretch and go to overtake one car I end up overtaking 4 or five ;)

I am in a tiny place called Crowborough (which incidently has another Zed) Apparently the guy saw mine and had to get one, my neighbours brother in law apparently.

 

I live about 30 mins from Brighton and Crowborough is about 10 miles from Tunbridge Wells.
