Ok, how many of you respectable people f\/ck off to the pub at lunchtime? Me and my mate are having a bad day, we were saying that if we were working in Amsterdam we could bugger off to a cafe for lunch and get stoned instead.

 

Then back to work and it would be "Hello dude, what seems to be the problem man?" and how funny it would be to walk back into the office after emptying the crisp machine coz of the munchies. Sitting back down with 40 bags of cheese and onion, 20 mars bars, 15 bags of McVities mini chocolate cookies and 10 packets of Starburst! 'ave it! LOL :hyper:

Done that before anyway lol, back along (I think 9 years ago if I recall)

 

Worked at a really stressfull place, we always nipped out at lunchtime to have a smoke, then back to work trying not to laugh at the customers shouting at you.

 

The reason I remember it so well is because it was the day I put myself off of Toffee Crisp's for life, I'd had nothing at all to eat that day. I had only consumed three cans of shandy (lol) I emptied the vending machine of six TC's over the period of one hour. Later that day I felt aweful, like I was just waiting to be sick. Toffee Crisps showed no remorse for me and decided to set about me, kicking my arse, churning my stomach at a hefty rate of nots.

 

For months if I even looked at a toffee crisp it would make me heave, not nice. Still cant eat em to this day and its making me feel ill just talking / thinking about it this early too.

Holds hand up, was down the pub yesterday lunch. Its real difficult when its sunny not to! And besides, theres a pub right by the main gate for work and at the top end of site is the works club, so we have two places to walk to.

 

Am being good today and surfin tinterweb instead!!

we have a boozer directly underneath us in barbirolli square and because its hidden you dont get muppets there until we show anyway but what you do get is all the office totty sunning themselves there.......so many times have i gone there at dinner and strolled back in 3 hours later

I feel sorry for you bud! My company used to have a site at Staples Corner called Atlas House (I was originally hired to run it, but got moved to another site before I started - phew!!) I went to a couple of pubs with the person who did manage it in the end and I agree, they are shit holes! Just be glad you're not a bit further up the road in Kilburn though....... :eek:

Went to the Honey Pot (aptly named pub ;)) Tuesday, Dick Turpin yesterday, the Water Mill today and the Quays tomorrow! LARGE! :rofl:
