Youre sat at a road junction waiting to turn out of work and a little 10 year old lad stops at the side of the road and says Wow! Then he walks across in front of you and says "Nice car Mate!".

Poor little fella even stood there and waited for me to turn right and boot it off so he could hear it go!!!

Its good to know there are some appreciative youngsters out there!!!

i was in manchester a while ago waiting at some lights when the car got surrounded by teenage schoolkids. luckily (and damn right too) they didnt touch the car, just wow'd and asked me what it was. i floored the gas in neutral and they nearly fled! bless 'em

t'was cool tho

Its more annoying when they won't get out the way and you have to run them over though :D Takes hours to peel the skin off the subframe :(

me and fas had some youngster running up to my old Zed (N/A SWB T-Top Man) saying WOW what car is that, fas looks at them and says its a lambo lol :) and they then we just floored it and got out of there as they were cheering the "lambo on".

There was a 5 year old visiting his grandparents in our street and while he was playing with his little friend, he stopped at the bottom of the drive and looked. His friend told him to "come on" but this lad said "No, I want to look at this car with the 4 exhausts"

When I bought the car everyone at the club thought I was earning way too much money. they all thought it was some way out expencive exotic. When they found out how much I paid, one or 2 of them where gutted as it gets more attention than thier Bmers, porches, scoobs etc. All for 4k lol

Sounds better too

Was sooooo funny only yesterday, I picked a mate up and we went to a greasy spoon roadside cafe (gotta keep me figure) and all i did after we'd eaten was start the Z up let it tickover for 2 mins and all the pikeys came out to see what it was, one of em shouted "Lets see what it does then" so of course i left the layby very sideways!! I think they were happy!!

It's so anoying, I come accross situations like that all the time, one was this week actually, and I'd had me car switched off for a fair few mins waiting for me kentucky! Anyways, got in started her up, let her tick over for a min or two as Im loading the kentucky into a safe place. Then I thought that I would oblige their comments with a little sideways action out the car park (it was pretty clear).

Booted it, and it went slowly, BOVS didnt sound that good either, they are usualy deffening at 16psi. Looked down, DOH Fkin safety boost lol. Temp had dropped a little under norm (since the vents fitted it seems to cool off v quick, I walk away from the car with heat hazes pouring out looks a bit special lol)

So, only the slightest of twitches, and not much noise, What a ****er, wish I hadnt bothered now. They didnt seem overly impressed, and I drove off thinking **** Y did I boot it.

You gotta love safety boost. I love it also when you see some to55er who wants a go and you let em pass cause you cars still cold lol, but then i'd rather do that than kill me car! Just funny, the other day saw a 355 in town, he was on my ass all the way out of town but i'd only just started the car from cold, the car wasnt at temp in the couple of mins I drove it (although they do usualy warm up pretty quick dont they). Had to let the To55er overtake in the other lane while I watched him and couldnt play :( would have cained him big time too lol.

Not my son though :(. He says with his arms folded and a scowl on, "Me and mummy don't like YOUR car, do we". Cheers mate. :slap:

lol, my daughter loves it although when ever im driving she keeps shouting that my car is noisy and to stop it if im getting sideways a little.

My missus loves it, she said she wouldnt mind one as her next car.

The only thing my daughter doesnt like is being stood around the car when I start it, and also she hates it when i've got the roof off.

My little lad loves it too. Went to pick him up from nursery last Friday afternoon and he was outside round the back playing when (according to his carer) he heard the exhaust and recognised it as being Daddys red car! Bear in mind he couldnt see it and hes not even 2 yet! The lads got potential!! :p

He loves it when we are out cruising especially when the wind gets on him when the roofs out.

My brother ans sister love it, I've arranged to pick them up from school in it on Friday. Their mates thought my Astra GTE 16V was a bit special, wait till they see this

My neighbour bought a Boxster just as I got my Z.

His little boy prefers the Z as it has 4 exhausts and the Boxster only has one!

Unfortunately a new bloke moved in on the other side and he has an M5, so I am no longer 'bossing' the terrace.
