I have a block of housing association properties just opposite my house. For many, many years this cul-de-sac has been a safe place for my son and the other children to play happily together. All the residents were really nice people. Until Saturday when the tennant from hell moved in. To date he has:

i) Repeatedly sworn in a particulary offensive manner at all the children whilest being very drunk. My son came home in tears.

ii) Continuously intimidated the children by staring at them whilst they were playing outside of their own homes.

iii) Threatened violence against the mothers of two of the other children.

iv) Be seen driving away from his property whilest obviously pissed. If he returns in such a state he could easily hurt a child.

We have also heard that from his next door neighbour that she has been warned by others to be very careful dealing with him. Apparantly he is a known hater of children.

So, what can we do to get rid of the son of a bitch? What are the legal responsibilities of the housing association? Also, if his presence devalues my property which I have been considering selling, can I claim compensation against the housing association?

Bat Him! ;)

"What are the legal responsibilities of the housing association?"

exactly the same as if they were council houses

you AND the neighbours need to contact the H/A to tell them of any problems

one of their tenants is causing, and where possible collect evidence, if the H/A don't know about it, they can't be held responsible,

and after that see timmy turbos suggestion ;)

Speek to other residents and if they all feel the same way then speak to the old bill.

Also to the council. Threatening behavour and abusive language are offenses. Continued antisocial behavour should be enough to get the housing association to kick him out.

If thaT doesn't work then take Timmy's advice

If you report him to the housing association and KEEP reporting him (with the back up of as many neighbours that you can get) they will shift him on.

However we are all different types of people and we all do things in many different ways, if that was my children and my mrs he was threatening then I would not even think about reporting him, I would SMASH him to a pulp FACT!

WHEN that doesnt work take Timmy's advice:D

Or another option, flood the estate with kids :D Get all the kids to invite their mates round and all go play out in front of his house. He might get the idea and **** off outta there LMAO

Best bet is to film him doing it and keep a diary of any events/reports etc.

first of all you get money for grassin drink drivers up so theres an incentive to at least get you started you now need to get a vid cam installed to film him in action over a week if you intend to get him with an asbo this will be invaluable evidence at a later date........at every given opportunity you need to get the police round not just you but all ure neighbours anything more than 10 or 15 calls about the same individual flags the guy up to the plod and eventually they take steps......plod really are your friend with these kind of matters above all try not to bait this guy and let him hang himself with his action.....or you via timmys method take direct action but this wont win you any friends with the plod if you intend direct action its better to bundle him into a van with 6 lads masked up onto the moors and a silent beating with nothing said to him leaving him wondering who and why its far more effective trust me

No a lot of help at the mo but when the kids get older I guarantee he will be well sorted!!!

BAT HIM!!! Failing that take Timmy's advice! LOL

Report him to the Authorities, you only need 3 official complaints from what I've heard. Any other course of action (apart from Timmy's sound advice of course:)) could result in reprisals.

I used to work for a local housing association, you just gotta

keep on complaining about this guy, get the old bill out, you need

crime reference No's etc.... The association have to go through

all the legal channels 1st, this can take yrs, so get it started...now!

You have 2 other options:

Set fire to his house, that way he'll be re-housed elsewhere :x:

Or do what Timmy said, start a lynch mob!

Oh, you could also point out to him that if he was to be evicted,

the housing association are not legally obliged to re-house him.

It's not like it was in the old council days! We once had a guy who

had been given his ntq (notice to quit), the day before the

baliffs arrived he set fire to his house, so the council had to

re-house him, then start the whole eviction procedure again!

But that was yrs ago, when it was the council.

Just a thought

i didnt know AdamR had moved house!!!!

:d

:d Lmao

he is dangerous, thats obvious, get all the evidence you can get, and keep an eye on your kids and wives, he will go for them, men like that dot give two flying fooks about the law, report his ass day in and day out till the cops and the H/A are sick of it, and yes it can take years...................TIMMY GAVE SOME GOOD ADIVE THO .....HEHEHEHEHE

Wendy and Robert

you need to keep a diary - make sure everything is documented

Regards,
